Day 1: Leh, check in at the camp, afternoon visit Shanti Stupa and Hall of Fame. Night camping with Taurus.

Day 2: Stok Palace, Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Leh Palace. Explore Leh market. Night with Taurus.

Day 3: Nubra Valley: Khardungla Pass, Diskit and Hunder, night stay in guest house/ homestay.

Day 4: Drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok. Night with Taurus at Leh.

Campervan Camping on riverbanks of the Indus river is a delight beyond words in Ladakh. Guests are enjoying Weber Barbecue Grill and Good Times on the banks of the River Indus in campervan / caravan camping in static mode, away from tourists.

WHAT IS INCLUDED 

1. Pickup and drop (only from Leh airport as a group).
2. Stay (as per the accommodation displayed on our website and some tents on ground) twin sharing, onboard Taurus in “static camping mode”, with sleeping bags. Single occupancy on demand will be extra.
3. Morning tea with biscuits and rusks, from the kitchen of Taurus.
4. Homely Indian veg breakfast (with eggs), as per the plan.
5. Indian veg lunch at our camp on the first day.
6. Evening tea (with biscuits and cookies) from the kitchen of Taurus, if you arrive at the camp on time, otherwise we lay the dinner.
7. Indian veg dinner.
8. Drinking water (filtered).
9. Guest House stay at Nubra Valley (with breakfast and dinner), on twin sharing. Single occupancy with Single Supplement

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

1. Journey to Leh and back home, pick up and drop for singles and twos (will be as extra).
2. Inner-line permits, entry fee of all kinds, taxes on tariff, camel rides, guide, porter, escort.
3. Any extra food other than buffet in our camp, non veg food, beverages of all kinds, any kind of food outside Taurus on day excursions/ sightseeing and travel/ journey. Extra Charges. 
4. Extra expenses caused by weather conditions  and delays for any reasons (for stay, food and transport other than mentioned in your program).
5. All kind of insurances.
6. Masks, hand gloves and sanitizers, anything you need for the safety of Corona/ COVID.
7. Extra Transport: Pick up on Day 1 from hotel and for ones and twos. Shopping trips. Any personalized trips.

Arrive at Leh, transfer to the camp offered by Taurus, on the banks of the river Indus outside Leh, to acclimatize as per the medical advice for high altitude sickness, while relaxing in hammocks. After lunch, transport will take guests to visit Shanti Stupa. Enjoy your evening tea at this location – a blissful experience beyond any price-tag and words and photos to capture; offers unlimited bragging rights.

It’s your much desired and awaited van-life night, which Taurus offers outside Leh.

• On arrival: Welcome drink – Tea/ Coffee.
• Indian veg-breakfast as buffet. It could be one of these (aloo paratha, aloo poori, upma, poha, bread and cutlets, bread pakoras), one item of egg, tea/ coffee.
• Indian veg lunch as buffet (if you are at the camp). If you wish you may enjoy  with Weber Barbecue Grill (as extra, if whole group agrees) on the banks of the river and veg dinner from the kitchen of Taurus.

Breakfast is a treat for your soul at this place! After breakfast, drive in a hired transport to visit Stok Palace, Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery and Leh Palace. Explore Leh market. Night with dinner in the camp hosted by Taurus, outside Leh.

After breakfast, your transport will drive you over the world’s highest motorable road Khardungla, with a very brief stopover of around 10 minutes to reach Nubra Valley, while enjoying mesmerizing views of the landscape giving you a feel being on a different planet. Enjoy your visit to the white sand dunes and Diskit Monastery,  and you may opt for a camel ride if you wish, as extra activity.

Stay in homestay/ Guest-House/ Camp, enjoy your dinner as per the plan.

We offer the best experience with Buddhist Culture in Ladakh and Spiti Valley, none can match us as of now for such photo tours and holidays for photographers.

After breakfast at the stay, a long drive to reach Pangong Lake, via Shyok to enjoy and admire the most beautiful natural lake.

To avoid getting hit by “high altitude sickness” in such a remote place like Pangong Tso, where medical facilities are scanty, we drive back to Leh. On the way, if time permits, we stop at Chamrey Monastery. Night in camp Taurus outside Leh.

OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS OF THE TOUR
You may prefer to stay back to explore the following options as extra, only if the group decides at the time of booking, else depends on the availability:

1. Rafting in Indus River: Many travellers love to add rafting to their great experience in Ladakh; if you wish we may organise rafting for you as extra activity. The cost of stay and rafting will be extra than the tariff paid for the package.
2. Visit to Lamayuru and Alchi: Offers an exhilarating journey with views of the famous Indus which flows along the road while hugging the gigantic mountains. Visit mountain caves used by the Buddhist monks for meditation and an old monastery at Saspul, missed by the most travellers. Visit Alchi Monastery (one of the oldest and well known for it’s unique architecture). Stay at Lamayuru in a homestay/ guest house Visit Lamayuru monastery.
3. Visit the Aryan Villages: One of the most beautiful regions to offer peek into the life of the people who are so unique and different than the rest of Indians, known as pure Aryan people. The culture is completely different and is a special attraction for anyone; be a photographer, traveller or explorer. This will be a 2 night sojourn with Taurus camping on the banks of a stream whose gush offers you musical recital never experienced before. Enjoy your tea and hot snacks from the kitchen of Taurus and in a setting which will leave you in awe for life. A wonderful drive all along the river and rocky mountains for over 150 kilometers. Visit the villages Dah and Hanu, meet and greet the Aryan while they are moving around for their daily chores. One experiences quite a green view in this region which is studded with apricot trees. Dinner and night stay onboard Taurus at a soul thrilling location.
4. Overnight Visit Pangong Lake: Considering the serious risks of the high altitude at Pangong and scanty medical facilities, we have not included overnight stay at Pangong. However, if you think you are physically fit, we can organise your overnight visit to Pangong (transport, food and stay) as extra.
5. Tsomoriri Lake: Most of the first time visitors to Ladakh are confused about whether to visit both lakes or one and then which one, so we have kept this also as optional, at extra cost. We can help you organise transport, food and stay for your visit to Tsomoriri.

NOTES:

1. You should be free of Corona (follow the guidelines of the Government, if you have any fever then get yourself examined by the competent authority with certificate).
2. Please carry enough supply of your own masks, hand gloves and hand sanitizer.
3. While in static camping we may host other guests also. But while on the move and its a package for “mobile camping” we host only 8 max.
4. We have basic first aid kit available onboard only for emergency use.
5. Please carry your own medicines too if you need.
6. You must not have any ailments and should be medically fit for high altitude travel.
7. Oxygen cylinders are available at the camp for emergencies – if you consume oxygen it will be as extra, to be be paid before checkout. If you need to carry oxygen cylinder on your excursions, we can make arrangements at extra cost and depends on the availability. But we will not be responsible for the quality and any technical failures of the oxygen kit, it will be made available from third party.
