ITINERARY AT GLANCE 

Day 1: Leh airport,  guest-house for night stay.

Day 2: Leh Palace, Stok Palace, Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Shanti Stupa. Night at guest-house. 

Day 3: Sham Valley, Nimu, Magnetic Hill, Alchi Monastery and Cave paintings at Saspol, Sangam, Patthar Sahab Gurudwara.  Night stay at the guest-house at Leh.

Day 4: Nubra Valley, Khardungla, white sand dunes, Hunder, Diskit, night stay at a home-stay. 

Day 5: Pangong Lake Durbuk and Tangtse, reach Kharu/ Karu for night stay in a guest house. 

Day 6: Visit Hemis Monastery and Thiksey Monastery, explore local market to buy souvenirs and local food. Night stay  and dinner on-board Taurus.

Day 7: Leh airport for your homeward journey.

ITINERARY IN DETAIL

Enjoy your mesmerizing journey as you fly over the gigantic mountains with wonderful views of the snowcapped peaks like chocolate icecream cones with white cream poured over; the view leaves everyone in awe ensure you get buckled in a window seat, while landing through a valley of bare mountains, offering the most beautiful views. Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee airport at Leh, one of the highest commercial airports in the world at the height of 10,685 ft. There will be a transport to transfer you as a group to a guest-house for night stay with dinner and acclimatization, as per medical advice for the high altitude sickness you must take complete rest for 24 hours minimum.
After breakfast at the guest-house, your transport (hired) will take you to explore Leh Palace, Stok Palace (15 kms from Leh), Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery, Shanti Stupa. Night stay and dinner at the guest house.
After breakfast at your guest-house, your transport will drive you to Sham Valley to visit Alchi, Nimu, Magnetic Hill, Monastery at Saspol, Sangam, Patthar Sahab Gurudwara (the most famous Sikh temple of the region). You may enjoy your stop-over at Saspol to visit the local monastery and caves to see the heritage in cave paintings. Night stay at the guest house at Leh.
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley. On the way, you may enjoy a short break to take photos/ selfies at Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the world and reach Hunder for night stay. Visit Diskit Monastery and enjoy white sand dunes, photograph with double humped bacterial camels camel rides (ride is optional). Night stay with dinner at a home-stay.
After breakfast at your guest-house, drive to Pangong Lake, Durbuk and Tangtse, on the Indo-China border. The picturesque long and narrow lake is one of the main attractions of Ladakh region, where several Bollywood films have been shot and known for its blue pristine waters surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains in view. Pangong Lake became famous after part of the 3 Idiots film was shot here. Enjoy walking around and witness the changing colours of the lake as the time of the day changes. Drive to Kharu/ Karu for night stay in guest house/ homestay/ hotel.
After breakfast, check out and drive to visit Hemis Monastery and Thiksey Monastery, reach Leh to explore local market to buy souvenirs and enjoy local food, if you wish. Much awaited night stay and dinner on-board Taurus to experience something unique.

After a wonderful experience of morning tea and breakfast from the kitchen of Taurus, your transport will take you to the Leh airport for your homeward journey, with life-time memories to recite tale of experiences.

TARIFF

This special holiday program has the following tariff, as per the terms prescribed on our website:

  1. Rs 28,600 per person, if your booking group is of 10 persons.
  2. Rs 32,800 per person, if your booking group is of 8 persons
  3. Rs 36,600 per person, if your booking group is of  3 to 6

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  1. Journey home to airport Leh and back.
  2. Inner-line Permit. Entry fee to monuments, any kind of properties, monasteries.
  3. Non-veg food on board Taurus. Any meal ordered and consumed other than prescribed. Any food/ snacks on excursions and journey.
  4. Beverages of all kinds and bottled water
  5. Extra transport other than mentioned in the program. Shopping and personal trips.
  6. Insurance of all kinds.
  7. Medical Emergency related expenses (trip to medical store for oxygen cylinder, medicines., transport for evacuation to Leh and beyond, doctor’s fee, etc). Expenses related to accidents and evacuation to Leh and beyond.
