Your safety is our utmost priority. We are taking a series of steps that will help you stay safe on your holidays with us. We are committing to new  safety standards which are being discussed and formed by the entire tourism industry to become the bedrock of new protocols for travel in these times:

As of now, we suggest for two tiered  precautions and safety protocols, though we will keep improving with time and experience:

PERSONAL LEVEL

  1. Wear mask, wash hands with hand sanitizer regularly, maintain distance from others.
  2. By protecting others we protect ourselves – follow the guidelines strictly.
  3. Drive your car  to reach our CAMP THAT CHANGES SPOTS for your vacation.
  4. Else fly with all precautions.
  5. Prefer to be self-reliant for the beverages and food for the journey till you reach Taurus.
  6. We all have an obligation to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
  7. At our camp you will have to follow the Corona / COVID safety instructions 100%, failing which you may be asked to leave the camp without any refund and transport – under your own arrangements.

AT OUR LEVEL 

  1. Small groups (preferably one family or friends, couples) to ensure social distancing.
  2. We will do our best to ensure your safe holidays.
  3. We have never compromised on our high standards of hygiene since inception. Now, we will be extra careful.
  4. Taurus is always away from touristy locations to unwind in the wilderness, with social distancing by default.
  5. Your exposure is limited to our staff/ crew of two to three only (including Capt Suresh Sharma).
  6. Food is served as buffet – no table service.
  7. Used utensils will be dropped by you in a tub filled with soapy water to keep it dipped for sometime.
  8. We carry three sets of utensils to use with long intervals.

OUR PROTOCOL

  1. On Arrival we will be following a protocol to check your temperature, sanitize your hands.
  2. Baggage will be handled by you for check-in.
  3. Once you check-in and get your baggage onboard.
  4. Utmost hygiene about the facilities and equipment onboard: sleeping bags are cleaned and sanitized and shown UV under the sun.
  5. Guests get to use removable cotton inner-lining for sleeping bags which is washed and disinfected after each use.
  6. General hygiene and cleanliness will be the responsibility of the guests also. 
  7. Fresh vegetables will be dipped in baking-soda and salt/ saline water, then rinsed with safe water which will be filtered with one of the best water filters for RVs, an internationally renowned brand.
  8. Since, it’s inception, we have been cleaning our utensils in a away, we bet no camping will be able to manage in India i.e. remove the food particles first,  rinse with water, rub with the best branded dish-washing gel liberally, rinse again, dip in potassium permanganate, sun-dry to expose to natural UV.

FOR YOUR  HYGIENE: we will provide the following:

  1. We shall provide quality of hand wash (liquid as well as soap cake).
  2. One personal bottle (optional) of sanitizer will be provided at actual cost +handling charges, as the consumption will be higher than normal under the prevailing circumstances.
  3. With operational costs going up and losses, we suggest you to bring your own trusted brand as per quantity you may need. 
  4. Guests to brin own face shield, masks and gloves.
  5. We shall provide masks, face shield, hand sanitizer and hand gloves at extra cost.
  6. If need be, we will try to keep a gap between the bookings, as per the norms prescribed by the medical specialists.
  7. Temperature of the Crew will be checked twice a day.
