Manali – Spiti Valley – Tabo – Kaza – Pin Valley – Manali

  • Duration: 7 days/ 6 nights.
  • Starts at Manali on 8th September and finishes at Manali on 14th September.
  • Size of the Group: max 10 participants.
  • Suitability: Indians fit for mountain travel. No trekking involved.
  • Food, stay, transport as per the details given for this program.
  • Hired transport Manali to Spiti and for the drop of the group back at Manali.
  • Transport for excursions (included) on all days in Spiti Valley.
ITINERARY AT A GLANCE

Day 1: Check-in at the Hotel Wildrose for transit stay for one night at Manali, twin sharing basis, with one dinner, one breakfast. Stay at Manali is being funded by Mr Prashant Singh, owner of The Hotel Wildrose.

Day 2: Drive in hired transport to Spiti Valley over Rohtang and Kunzum. Check-in onboard Taurus at Rangrik/ Kaza.

Day 3: Visit Hikkim, Langza and Komic in a hired transport. Night stay and dinner  onboard Taurus, around Kaza (away from crowd).

Day 4: After morning tea and breakfast, transport will take you  to Tabo and Dhankar Monastery. Night stay and dinner onboard Taurus, somewhere around Kaza.

Day 5: After breakfast, visit Pin Valley. Night stay and dinner on b0ard Taurus, next to the river.

Day 6: Visit Key Monastery, Kibber, Chicham Bridge and reach Chandertal Lake. Night stay in hired camp with 1 veg dinner, 1 veg breakfast.

Day 7: After breakfast drive to Manali and drop at bus stand to board Volvo to travel home.

TARIFF:

  • Special Tariff Rs 26,500 (standard tariff is Rs 35,800 per person) only for a group of 8 to 10, if group is less than 8 then tariff will change accordingly.
  • You may book as a single participant as well.
  • Children below 3 years will be treated as our guests, below 5 years will be @ 75% of the tariff (will have to share accommodation with parents), above 5 years will be at full tariff

The tariff offered is applicable for group booking of 8 to 10 persons on twin sharing basis, single room occupancy shall be at extra cost in the hotel at Manali and at the Camp at Chandertal Lake.

WHATS IS INCLUDED

  1. Hired transport (Tempo Traveller -mini bus or any suitable one, locally hired as per availability) for the journey Manali to Spiti Valley, as a group of 8 to 10. Less than 8 will have to pay extra for the difference of the cost for transport and other related service for the program.
  2. Hotel stay (one on arrival) on twin sharing basis at Manali, with one  dinner and one veg breakfast.
  3. Single occupancy will be charged as extra as per applicable ‘Single Supplement’.
  4. Transport (Tempo Traveller or whatever is locally available) on excursions in Spiti Valley on all days of the itinerary.
  5. Taurus for stay and simple Indian veg food in Spiti Valley (from the kitchen of Taurus), twin sharing basis.
  6. Dinner and breakfast (including morning and evening tea) only when staying onboard Taurus.
  7. Filtered water onboard Taurus with meals.
  8. Camping equipment (sleeping bags and camp chairs)
  9. Basic first-aid medical kit onboard Taurus.
  10. We have imported oxygen cylinders onboard.
  11. One night stay at Chandertal in hired camp on triple sharing, with one dinner and one breakfast.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

  1. Journey from home to Manali and return journey Manali to home.
  2. Hotel on return from Kaza to Manali.
  3. Any extra stay and food needed because of landslides or any other failures, will have to be paid as extra by participants.
  4. Food on the way Manali to Spiti and excursions.
  5. Porters, Escorts and guides
  6. Any permits if needed at any stage (as of now Indians don’t need any permits).
  7. Extra transport for trips other than itinerary
  8. Entry fee to monuments
  9. Extra meals or eatables/ snax ordered other than prescribed in the itinerary onboard Taurus
  10. Non Veg food
  11. Beverages of all kinds, except drinking filter water with food only.
  12. Lunch on excursions.
  13. Expenses of all kinds related to medical emergencies.
  14. Insurance of all kinds.
  15. Anything which is not written in the list WHAT IS INCLUDED
  16. Tips and gratuity to anyone
  17. Laundry
  18. Any delay caused by landslides, technical breakdown, political upheaval, poor health, and this incurring extra cost for stay and food.
