Amritsar is the gateway of Punjab and the fountainhead of its culture. Punjabis are known to have larger heart than their chests. Other than the culture it’s also known to be as heaven for foodies and its known on the international circuits.

Day 1: Arrive at Amritsar, check-in at the hotel. After lunch visit the Golden Temple, evening at the Jallianwala Bagh. Enjoy Amritsari dinner.  Night at the hotel. 

Amritsar is the fountainhead of Punjabi culture and heaven for foodies. The  historical complex of Jallianwala Bagh Smarak has been renovated and there is sound and light show displaying the horrific massacre of April 1919 it will “instill a spirit of gratitude and reverence towards the martyrs”.

Day 2: Early morning, you will be escorted by Raminder Pal Singh to enjoy a Heritage Walk/ Partition museum. Enjoy your morning cup of tea on Heritage Walk. Enjoy your breakfast and head for the famous GG Fort. After early lunch, visit Atari Border to witness Beating the Retreat. Dinner and stay at the hotel. 

There can’t be a better choice than Raminder Pal Singh who is born and brought up in Amritsar and have been exploring the city as a seasoned photojournalist. Has worked with European Photo Agency for 16 years.

Day 3: After early breakfast, travel by road to Pathankot for 2 hours (approx 115 kms), board a narrow gauge train to travel around 90 kms. Enjoy the ride and views. Get off around 15 kms short of Kangra, a quick visit to Kangra Fort. Drive to the camp. 

Day 4: Enjoy the unique holiday i.e. recreational activities and the warmth of the kitchen in the wilderness. 

Day 5: Sunrise Safari (optional), morning tea and light walk with self managed yoga session. 

Day 6: After breakfast set your bearing for homeward.

How to Reach Amritsar 

Its very well connected by air, rail and road. There is an international airport.
