Features and Facilities: Taurus is an RV (recreational vehicle) which performs as Overland Truck with combination of caravan, campervan and motorhome. We ensure you have a very special holiday – nomadic yet comfortable and with touch of aristocracy. It’s an outdoor holiday to enjoy rendezvous with Nature to relax and detox in real, and can’t be compared for facilities of static camp, resort, hotel and restaurant. It’s completely different and is meant for those who love and understand outdoors.
Accommodation:
- Taurus can host 11 persons to sleep as shown in photos.
- Trailers can host 2 to 5 persons in each.
- One single person also can book a trailer to stay away from rest of the group for ‘social distancing’.
We provide mattresses and linen.
Kitchen & Food:
- Taurus has a well equipped kitchen.
- We serve food from the kitchen of Taurus if you don’t want to cook in your trailer’s kitchenette.
- Trailers also have own kitchenettes equipped to cook food.
- If you stay onboard trailers then you have two options – book trailer with kitchenette or without.
Toilets:
- Taurus has one toilet onboard fitted with the best Western seat, made in USA, which is specially made for caravans.
- There are two field toilets dry type (best available, imported from the USA), in tents with western style seats. These are deployed when the is 100% occupancy.

TARIFF
- Basic tariff is for stay only, between Rs 1500 to Rs 7500 per person per day depends on which accommodation has been booked with your package.
- It depends on what you have booked (Taurus, Praying Mantis, Hornbill or Garud), different locations, number of days, number of persons as a group, optional activities, facilities and the kitchen service you opt.
- Onboard kitchen will be available as ‘extra’ to serve breakfast, lunch, evening tea, hot snacks, dinner to exercise freedom and choice to eat out or choose a different location and set-up for lunch and dinner with us. This way you save money and enjoy variety!

- Trailers and Taurus can be moved to different locations in the general area of Jhatingri, as per your choice. Tariff changes as per the efforts invested to move to different locations (machinery, equipment, fuel, manpower and rent of the location).
- Your tariff will be quoted when you have decided about your accommodation and facilities you opt for your holiday.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
- Stay onboard Taurus or “Camping Trailers” in “static camping mode” in wilderness, as per the facilities available onboard or committed for your program at the time of booking.
- Food as per your booking (veg or non-veg).
- Filtered water to drink is served with food.
- Linen, quilts and sleeping bags.
- Camping equipment (dome tents, camping chairs, camp stools, sleeping bags, camp mattress with linen as available), as per your package.
- Self-service mobile camping in static mode to save your time and money (if you want to travel in our overland truck it will cost you extra), instead stay at the camp in wilderness and enjoy our unique setup and recreational facilities/ activities. Make the maximum use of the facilities to enhance your holiday.
- Also, you are much safer with our special protocols for the best hygiene to keep you safe from Corona.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
- Journey from home to Camp at Jhatingri and back home. Pick up and drop in case you are travelling by bus. Excursions and sightseeing. We suggest you to drive in your own car for “social distancing” and use it for local drives and excursions, you save your money too.
- Guides, escorts, porters.
- Shifting of trailers and Taurus to different locations.
- Food and beverages of all kinds (tea, coffee, cool drinks, refreshments, filtered water other than meal time, packaged/ bottled water), non-veg food and snacks (veg and non veg). Will be available at extra cost.
- Insurance of all kinds. Anything related to medical emergencies. Expenses of personal nature.
- Food for servants and domestic helps escorting the family. It’s charged at par with guests.
- Anything which is not mentioned in the list WHAT IS INCLUDED.

Hiking : To enjoy rendezvous with Nature, walk along the beaten trails and on top of the mountain ridge, it is an experience to remember for life. With a gradual gradient for most of the hike and with an unmatched scenery on both sides of the ridge, soothing of mind and nerves happens naturally. A great de-stresser, we recommend this activity for all our guests. Options are as under:-
Trekking: Trekking options with moderate to difficult grades are available on prior bookings and for groups of minimum 6 persons. We provide expert guides, porters and ponies (if route allows latter). The charges will vary between INR 2000 to 3000 per person per day. Options are as under:-

Para Gliding: A famous take off point, 360 Degree, lies in our area and is about 3 Kms from our location. But due to wind behaviour, para gliding by experts only is allowed here. For amateur flying, we can co-ordinate the same with experienced professionals based out of Bir.
Astro Watch: The terrain and geography of our location has been rated as 8 out of 10 for astro-activities like star gazing, galaxy watch, astro-photography and so on. Such programs, however, are organised during major astronomical events happening in the sky above us.
Bird Watching: A total of 106 varieties of birds have been identified around our area. Those who have an eye and have love for cherubs, shall have an unforgettable experience.
Flora: Dense Deodhar and Bann forests surround us. Wild orchids grow in plenty during rains. Famous Pahari potatoes grow all around us.
